Though similar to the domestic Hazardous Materials Regulations, the dangerous goods regulations of the IMO differ in some substantial ways.

Your site is unique and so are your responsibilities when it comes to transporting HazMat by Vessel. My Site Specific Training will address solely the hazardous materials you transport and the regulations (federal and state) applicable to them.

Site Specific Training is available in two formats:

Onsite Training is the best option if you are concerned about your compliance or subject to complex regulatory requirements. You need only provide a room for the training and I provide everything else. Onsite Training includes a site inspection and consultation the day prior to the scheduled training. Web-Based Training is delivered right to your desk in a live, interactive webinar (stop and ask me a question at any time!). It’s a great option if you are comfortable with your compliance and are looking to save money on your training budget. Regulatory Compliance Training

The transportation of a hazardous material by vessel exposes it to unique conditions not found in other modes of transport. Similar to a concern of ICAO/IATA for the transport of dangerous goods by air, a vessel at sea has limited options if its dangerous goods cargo begins to leak or react violently. My training identifies the IMO requirements and the regulations required to train you and your employees.
