HazMat Transportation Training Options & Pricing

If your business or government agency ships, receives, or transports a hazardous material (HazMat) in any amount, then anyone involved in its transportation must receive initial and triennial HazMat Employee Training. The purpose of this training is to increase a HazMat Employees safety awareness and to reduce HazMat incidents.

Daniels Training Services’ specialized HazMat Transportation Training incorporates my extensive knowledge on all applicable regulations, and uses interactive sessions to ensure HazMat personnel understand how to comply with both federal and state criteria.

But what type of HazMat Transportation training is right for you?

Site Specific Training

Your site is unique and so are your responsibilities when it comes to HazMat Transportation. My Site Specific Training will address solely the wastes you generate (hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, used oil, & state-specific) and the regulations (federal and state) applicable to them.

Site Specific Training is available in two formats:

  1. Onsite Training is the best option if you are concerned about your compliance or subject to complex regulatory requirements.  You need only provide a room for the training and I provide everything else.  Onsite Training includes a site inspection and consultation the day prior to the scheduled training.  Cost: ~$3,100 depending on travel costs and number of trainees.  Learn more about my Onsite Training.
  2. Web-Based Training is delivered right to your desk in a live, interactive webinar (stop and ask me a question at any time!).  It’s a great option if you are comfortable with your compliance and are looking to save money on your training budget.  Up to 25 separate sites and an unlimited number of trainees  can be included for the same cost (~$999 – $1,499).  Learn more about my Webinar Training.

Regulatory Compliance Training

If you or your employees are responsible for transporting Hazardous Materials, then you need to be familiar with the Hazardous Materials Regulations (HMR) that are enforced by the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) within the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). One of the requirements of the HMR is that a HazMat Employer provide training for its employees who have a direct affect on the safe transportation of hazardous materials.

Regulatory Compliance Training is available in two formats:

  1. Onsite Training is perfect for groups of employees with a wide-range of responsibilities under the HMR regulations. Not site-specific, but packed with useful information for any employee who transports HazMat. Cost: ~$3,100 depending on travel costs and number of trainees.  Learn more about my Onsite Training.
  2. Web-Based Trainingis ideal for individuals who don’t have the time or resources for more traditional training.  Scheduled once-per-month for your convenience.  Only three hours and $189/trainee and your back in compliance.  Learn more about my Webinar Training.
